A few more words about this course

The first and perhaps most important message is that critical thinking is hard. It can seem quite basic, but it is actually a complicated business, and most people are just not very good at it.

As a woman in leadership you need to know your options and practice speaking up for yourself in uncomfortable or difficult situations. Critical thinking is a life-time journey and it is never too early – or too late – to start working on it.

Improving critical thinking takes attention and dedication. Mastery comes from deliberate practice - and that is just what you get in this course. We've added exercises and game-like skill practice designed to stretch and improve your critical thinking skills.

    You will learn how to:

    • Discipline your mind to be open to think in a whole new way
    • Identify and overcome common thinking traps we all fall into
    • Evaluate the risks vs. the rewards of possible solutions
    • Uncover biases you probably didn’t even know you had
    • Recognize when your assumptions will get you into deep trouble
